Incredibly quick delivery
Used Marshalls a few times, mainly my start of season veg seed order but had a selection of plants from them as well, never had a bad experience.

After my last order had to rate them due to their incredibly quick service. I put in a £50 order just before 1am Sunday morning, and by Monday 4pm its been delivered. I'd always recommend them, very quick deliveries and always top quality.

Poor service
Poor service. The rootrainers I ordered were delivered by Yodel who left them in the Street ,in the rain, outside my house. Luckily a neighbour found them and took them in.
I did contact Marshalls to say I hadn't received them before discovering a neighbour had them. Customer Service isn't good.

Appalling quality of plants and poor service
I have been a gardener for 50 years but have never come across such poor service as recently with Marshall"s. I ordered a collection of raspberry canes but I could not believe what was sent to me, basically tiny twigs with barely any roots. They either have no quality control or just don't care. I took photographs of a sample of the plants but they only agreed to replace two if I sent them back. They weren't prepared to refund postage even though they accepted they had sent faulty goods. I sent all the plants back, was refunded for their cost but not the original cost of shipping or return postage. I was left out of pocket through their poor service. I will never use them again. I expect they would say they are disappointed that I do not feel they provided good service, but their actions show they don't really care.

Raspberry canes dead
In Feb 2022 purchased raspberry canes. 3 grew and 9 did not. After some email correspondence Marshalls agreed to supply replacements. Happy at the outcome but less happy about the delay in accepting dead is dead
Update: 10 replacement canes delivered and planted today after a good soak

Broad Bean Collection…
I ordered the Broad Bean Collection (Autumn planting) which arrived on
5 October. The 18 plants were very strong and healthy. We planted them out as instructed and I’m pleased to say they are growing perfectly well. They withstood the torrential rain and winds we suffered recently. Thank you Marshall’s. Excellent service

Non-delivery
Ordered autumn vegetable plugs - nearly £90 worth and roughly ten packs. Only one pack turned up.
Chased and chased and chased. Utterly useless. First time order. Never again. The most atrocious customer experience...

Excellent service.
Excellent service.
I ordered seeds for next season, yesterday afternoon; and the package was delivered by a very friendly courier, early afternoon today. Can't fault service. Obviously, I haven't tried the seeds yet; but am very happy with prompt service.

Insect Proof Netting
Insect Netting that doesn't fray. Fantastic. Or so I thought.
However, it is not very strong.
Whereas other fraiable netting have not been damaged by birds in 3 years. This non fraying insect proof netting has been damaged in one night by birds. I know that this is not an anti bird netting but it does need to withstand birds standing on it and pecking at it. It also catches and snags on everything.
Unfortunately I will not be using it again.

My garlic arrived just two days after I ordered it. There was a problem with one of the bulbs of one variety. I emailed about this with a photo of the problem and received a complete replacement pack within another two days. Brilliant service! Very happy

Still waiting for order after 10 days
I ordered onion sets and garlic for autumn planting. The website said they would be sent out within 7 days. However, after 9 days and an email enquiry from myself, I was sent an email saying I would receive them 'at the end of this week or beginning of next'. In other words, more than 2 weeks and possibly 3 since I ordered them. I feel they misled me by saying it would be within the week for delivery and it feels too long to wait. Next time I will just go to my local garden centre and then I would save myself the delivery charge as well.

Lovely compost to work with
My usual garden centre’s compost is always pretty wet and therefore not very nice to work with. My 2 bags from Marshall’s arrived well packaged, and dry. It appears to be very good compost ..... depends how the plants thrive, but so far I am very pleased with it. Delivery was super quick - 2 days - and I live in a remote place. Will definitely use Marshall’s again.

Wonderful in every way
Wonderful in every way. So pleased with our Corinthian bowl, just what we wanted and a reasonable price too. Delivery was super quick and I was impressed by the comment that you listen to customers requests. We all want a speedy delivery service these days . You certainly gave us that so thank you. Excellent, so very happy indeed!

Poor Delivery
One set of plants were semi mature, one set were plugs just out into a larger potting container. They had not rooted into the fresh compost and were delivered in poor condition.
The first plants were within a plastic bag, the smaller ones were not. Raised the issue with Marshalls and all they said is we will let dispatch know.
It was not value for money and I will not buy from them again.

Fantastic customer service!
Great products and service - our hedging arrived in perfect condition, on-time, and with recyclable packaging. The whole communication process from start to finish was exceptional; even down to an unexpected, personal follow-up call from customer services. Well done Marshalls Garden!

Poor Service All Round
Bag was squished in half, burst open, contents everywhere....unsurprisingly since a flimsy too small cardboard box was used and using Yodel to deliver compounds the error. It didn't turn up on the proscribed day and Yodel claimed a break down was the cause and then lied about the details and timing in their tracking. I'd never buy here again for these reasons.
